DX Engineering’s sponsorship of the Youth WWA 2026 Award is indicative of the company’s ongoing commitment to the future of amateur radio. The WWA team lauded DX Engineering’s contributions and the work of CEO Tim Duffy, K3LR, in helping the youth of amateur radio, noting how impactful it is having “a sponsor who believes in young operators.”
“Tim has always mentored new people in the hobby, and the K3LR station has welcomed young operators for more than 30 years,” the WWA team wrote on its website. “Having DX Engineering at the side of the Youth WWA is a great recognition for our young activators and a strong motivation for the hunters.”
In addition to this sponsorship, DX Engineering is a major equipment sponsor of the youth-focused VK9XY Christmas Island DXpedition scheduled for Nov. 16-Dec. 4, 2026.
