There are 3 operating positions at NA4DA. Two are located in the “Contest Shed”. The shed is a 20X25 metal building purpose built for operating contests.

Position 1

FlexRadio 6600, Power Genius XL amplifier.

Position 2

Yaesu FTDX-10, Elecraft KPA 500 amplifier, Elecraft KTA 500 tuner.

Position 3

The third position is the main house. FlexRadio 6400, SPE 1.3K-FA amplifier.

Two towers hold the antennas. At the top of 70ft Rohn 25 is a VHF/UHF dual band vertical. A JK Mid-Tri-40 multi band yagi covers 40m (2 ele), 20m (3 ele), 15m (4 ele), 10m (5 ele). Using band pass filters and a triplexer from VA6AM, each band can be operated by any of the operating positions. At 65ft, is a 80m inverted V dipole. Two 6m Omiangles are stacked for 6m. A Steppir 3 ele yagi is mounted at 37ft. The Steppir can operate on any Ham frequency from 20-6 meters.

The second tower is an aluminum 50ft free standing from Universal Towers. A JK Navassa 5 multi band yagi provides 2 ele on 5 bands: 10, 12, 17, 15, and 20 meters. A 80m full wave loop (261ft) is suspended between the tower and several trees.
